It’s easier than you think to start a business online!
When getting started online, a question many people ask first is “what should I sell?”
What should I sell?
How, they wonder, will they make a product that customers will actually want? Who will buy it? What could they possibly write about that would be worth others spending money on? Many spend hours labouring away at a book or videos and wonder if they will actually sell. Some even give up at this stage.
The truth, however, is that there is already an abundance of products out there that are already being sold and which have proven themselves in the market – and which anyone can sell if they want to.
Where to find other people’s products
By using third party products through an affiliate page like Clickbank or JVZoo, new online marketers can learn the skills involved in selling, using products that are already being sold successfully. And the best thing is – you can do the same for free and share in the profits of every sale!
So why would anyone let you sell their best-selling product?
Imagine this for a moment – you’ve created a product and want to get it out to as many people as possible – given your choice would you try to do that alone, spending money on ads in every niche and every part of the world– or would you get others to help? Sharing the profits with them if they can get sales as well?
Most likely you’d be glad to share the profits if it meant more sales – which is why product creators are keen to get you to promote their product for them. They’ll provide the sales page, the follow up support and the information.
You can work out which are selling by the “gravity” of the product – which sets out how many sales a given product makes. All you need to do is search out a product that has good “gravity”, in a niche that you can relate to, find your own message and get it to the audience.
How?
First you’re going to need to find your audience. On social media you can find the exact audience you’re looking for. Then you need something to capture their attention, useful stuff, material that allows them to find what they’re looking for. Finally you’re going to need a platform where they can find out what they do and buy from you – somewhere they can see your offer and understand who and what it is for, as well as how to buy. That’s where a “funnel” comes in, something that will guide them on their way to buying from you.
That means you need a product (which doesn’t need to be yours), you need to find the people who are actively looking for (or at least interested in) products like yours and you’re going to need a Platform that can sell your product, a webpage or funnel that can sell the benefits.
How much will it cost?
Fortunately all of the above are free, meaning that all you need is an internet connection and a willingness to learn.
